From sealed parcel to recorded handoff.
Each stage records a different fact. Preparation, placement acceptance, physical receipt, staging, and carrier acceptance are not interchangeable.
1. Seller prepares and declares
The Seller packs a complete shipping-ready unit, creates the parcel profile, and assigns a unique identity to each physical parcel. Restricted goods must be cleared before entering the normal flow.
2. Host accepts a placement
An eligible Host reviews the opportunity and accepts its terms. The authorized operational flow then supplies the destination needed for inbound. Pre-match browsing does not expose a directory of residential addresses.
3. Receipt starts storage
The Host verifies assigned parcels and records receiving evidence. The authoritative stored event starts storage accrual. Carrier tracking marked delivered does not replace that check.
4. An order starts fulfillment
A Seller order references an eligible stored parcel and recipient. The Host verifies that exact parcel and prepares it with the authorized shipping label. The required staging evidence records readiness for handoff.
5. Handoff changes custody
The system records authoritative carrier acceptance separately from staging. If pickup is missed or evidence is incomplete, the task remains in the appropriate follow-up process. Carrier delivery to the customer happens later.
6. Records support statements and review
Completed operational events support handling and storage accounting. Statements separate carrier costs. Incidents preserve declarations, observations, and evidence so that corrections can be reviewed without rewriting the original history.
